How to Create Music DVD

By creating a Music DVD in Easy Media Creator 10, you can make a 50 hour (over two days!) music mix that will outlast your wildest guests or at least give you piece of mind without worrying when the music will stop.

A DVD Music Disc is a special type of DVD-Video that contains music tracks, arranged in menus and track lists. You can play the disc on a set-top DVD player or on your computer using a software DVD-Video player such as CinePlayer.

How it's done:

1. Launch Easy Media Creator Home.

2. Click on the Audio tab in the Project Pane and then select Quick Music DVD.

3. In the Roxio DVD Music Assistant window, type a name for your disc in the Disc Name text box.

4. Click the Add Tracks button. In the Media Selector dialog box, select the tracks and click the Add button. Click Close when done.

Tip: To select more than one file at a time, press and hold the "Control" key while you select the files. Click the Next button to continue.

5. In the Add Smart Menus area, select the boxes next to the Smart Menus that you want to include. Using the audio tag information associated with each track, such as artist and album, DVD Music Assistant sorts the tracks into menus automatically. Click on the Select Styles button. In the Style dialog box, choose the desired style and then click OK.

6. TIP: You can also use your own background by clicking on the Add Background Image.

7. Click the Next button to continue.

8. Choose one of the following output options:
o Burn: Burn your project to a DVD.
o Save: Save your music DVD project.
o Edit in Music Disc Creator: To continue working on your project using more advanced features in Music Disc Creator.
